How to make capsicum vegetable- Shimla Mirch Ki Sabji




Often we get frustrated by eating plain food in daily life and we feel like eating something new. Then there is no such new recipe in our mind that we can eat quickly. Similarly, today we are going to make a vegetable recipe of Potato Capsicum recipe. The taste of this recipe is very good and everyone will like it if you make this dish at home using our recipe.


Capato Capsicum Recipe: It can be prepared quickly in less time and no more spices are required to make this recipe. Capsicum is easily available in the market during the winter season, but now capsicum is available in the market in any season and we can make this recipe in any season.


Ingredients of Shimla Mirch Ki Sabji


Capsicum two big size
Potato Four Size
Green chili finely chopped
Tomatoes 2 finely chopped
Ginger garlic paste one teaspoon
Oil 2 tablespoons
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Onion finely chopped
Garam masala powder a teaspoon
Coriander leaves 1 cup
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder a teaspoon
Coriander powder a teaspoon
salt to taste


 How to make Potato Capsicum Vegetable


To make capsicum vegetable, first wash the potato with water, then remove the skin of the potato and cut one potato into 8 pieces. Now boil the potatoes by adding water to the cooker or vessel. (If you also have rice rancid then make this recipe)


Now cut the capsicum in the middle, cut the middle part of the capsicum and the seeds and cut them to medium size. (Recipe of stale bread to swadist dish)

Now add a little more oil in the same pan and add cumin, garlic ginger paste, green chillies, finely chopped onions and fry till it becomes soft. We do not have to change its color.

Now add capsicum and potato and mix potatoes and capsicum with light hands. Keep in mind that potatoes should not break while mixing with a spoon, so cook it for two to three minutes by mixing it lightly.

Now turn off the gas and garnish by adding green coriander leaves on top of it. Now take it out in the serving bowl. Capsicum and potato vegetable is ready to be served, enjoy it with roti or paratha.

While boiling the potatoes, we have to cook the potatoes between 70% -80%. If the potatoes are too hot, then when the potatoes are added to the spices and mixed with a spoon, the potatoes can break.


We have made dry potatoes and capsicum vegetable. If you want something wet, then add one cup more water while roasting the spices.
